positive review: i really liked how there were 2 sides of the same story at one point between Clay and Hannah.

negative review: i didn't like how the book was based on a suicide and some tapes, i wish there was more to it.

overall review: i think it was a good read, i'm glad i read it, i mean, i don't regret reading it. if you like this type of book than you should definitely check it out.

summary: Hannah Baker has 13 reasons why she decided to kill herself. each reason is based on the actions of a person.

it is Clay Jensen's turn to listen to the tapes. the tapes are a recording of Hannah's voice, describing the offense of that one person. Clay is nervous, he doesn't want to be one of the reasons his crush killed herself. he walks around town all night, following the map that was given, waiting for his name on the tapes, ready to be over with it.

the next day, clay mails the tapes to the next on the list.

YOU CAN'T STOP THE FUTURE. YOU CAN'T REWIND THE PAST. THE ONLY WAY TO LEARN THE SECRET... is to press play.
