Positive review: This book is poison. It seeps into your soul and the only cure is to finish it.

Negative review: How can we get the poison out of our system with a cliff hanger like that?

Overall review: This poison was/is delicious, you should really try some.

Summary: Guttersnipe. That's what She's been called since her father died. Her uncle takes "care" of her, but only about as much as someone would take care of a crock roach. The only person who has been nice to her is Bran, her cousin. She's never been considered an equal, until now.

She saved Bran's life. That's good. Now, She gets the choice of a lifetime, literally. Does she stay and let the rebels kill her out of "mercy", or does she go with them and hope she doesn't die along the way?

She goes from rags, to nicer rags. That's a big improvement, but she is still underestimated. All the bad guys are after her, the Seekers. Feared people who use their powers to play tricks on the human mind.

She has come to trust the rebels. She'd even go as far to say that the were her friends, but that's the thing about poison. Not all poisons are fast acting, some take awhile for the symptoms to show.

There's a spy in there midst, but how do you get rid of a poison when you don't know who they are?

Her life is on the line, but then again, so is everyone else's.
